Social Media Tips
Okay, so everyone is an “expert” when it comes to social media today. Why not throw No Spin IM’s two cents in?? Okay we will.
Social Media Tips – Tip #1 – Images
Everybody knows a picture is worth a thousand words, so use them. People love visual stimuli (males especially) so include it every-time in tweets and postings on Facebook, etc. Here is some great info about that. I’ve also heard that around 90% of information our brains receive is visual.
Social Media Tips – Tip #2 – Engage
Engage your audience. Build a relationship. You want people to be comfortable with your message and relate to it. Conversation is a two way street, so interact with your followers.
Social Media Tips – Tip #3 – Be Timely
Have an awareness of when your audience is most active on the social media outlets. Time posts and tweets for maximum exposure to those who care about the information you share.
Social Media Tips – Tip #4 Work Smarter, Not Harder
Another of our social media tips is to use the tools that are available.
Bufferap.com and Hootsuite are some to explore. This will help with our 3rd tip as well. Outsourcing this is simple using Odesk . You can use Stumbleupon to find good content to post and queue them up to post consistently to build a following.

SEO is Easy
SEO is Easy!
I know, it sounds like I’ve lost my mind. But really, basic on page SEO is Easy. Want proof? Okay let’s look at the ranking of my 3 latest posts for example. Click on them below to check their current ranking:

Easy SEO Tips – #1 on page one of Google
How to Improve Your Site’s Search Ranking Using SEO #2 on page one of Google
Now, on the date I wrote this current post, these were all at the top of Google search results, they may have changed since, but hopefully they’ll stick.
Now we have established that SEO is Easy!
Well obviously, I must have some insight into ranking posts, which my other three posts above illustrate due to their ranking and clearly, the titles of the posts boast of that as well : ) My point for this post is not to brag about my success in ranking in the search engines but to place the emphasis on the real work in SEO. Keyword Research really is the most critical part of the process. This is the part that must be handled carefully to get the best results. I look at it this way, proper On Page SEO and good quality keyword research can get you to the top of Google search results, excellent content that people share and backlink to can keep you there. So you see the challenging part is the keyword research and creating unique, high quality, interesting content for real people to enjoy.
Please comment below whether or not you agree that SEO is Easy!!

Easy SEO Tips:
Everyone wants site engine optimization the easy way. The truth is, SEO is really not difficult. We need to go back to a basic understanding that search engines are designed to give the user just what they are looking for in the search.
Easy SEO Tips: So you must begin with keyword research. Use the Google keyword research tool to research the keyword/s you plan to rank for. You’ll want to choose keywords with low competition, but good search volume. Check out the Keyword post for more info. There are also plenty of tools out there for this. Just Google it.
Easy SEO Tips
Easy SEO tips: Obviously, key to high rankings in any search engine is quality content that people are searching for. Although you must have an eye on the Google algorithms in order to rank, your main purpose is always to create useful content that real people want to read. That is the most critical part of staying ranked. Having great content for your readers will lead to other high authority sites linking to you. Those back links also improve your ranking.
More Easy SEO Tips
Another key tip is simple, use a plugin such as All In One SEO Pack or SEO Jacking. This will help you take care of the on page SEO for your post without a lot of fuss. As you write your post, you can easily see which of the important SEO must do’s you have covered. SEO Jacking has a checklist approach that is so simple to use.
Easy SEO Tips: Next, you’ll want the Google bots and other search engine bots to find your post to rank it. I suggest you install the XML -Sitemap Plugin. This plugin creates a map of your website that will make it easy for the robots to read your site’s meta data and index it in the search engines.
Easy SEO tips: Here is a tip you might find surprising. Improve your sites load speed time. The plugin to add for this is the W3 Total Cache Plugin. This will speed up your site’s load time. Slow loading can effect the ranking of a post.
You’ll also want to ping your url at Pingler. Watch the video for more info:

How to Improve Your Site’s Search Ranking Using SEO:
Let’s hear it from Matt Cutts himself:
Here is a much shorter video with some specifics for the next few months:
The Best WordPress Plugins :
Okay, best WordPress plugins for what? You see there are, as of today, 24,837 different WordPress plugins available for download. Those plugins can extend WordPress to do almost anything you can imagine. There are those we wouldn’t want to operate without, however. We have already written a post about blocking spam robots and our choice for that can be found here.
No Spin IM’s choice of best WordPress plugins:
The Best WordPress plugins for starting a website or blog:
Once a site is up and running, you’ll need to install the All in one SEO Pack and fill in the title, description and keywords. You’ll want to set up your categories and menu. If you want a sliding or stationary bar with the social buttons ( Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc) you can install the Digg Digg plugin. If you are looking for a more interactive WordPress plugin take a look at the Love Claw plugin (mentioned and explained in this post.) After adding these plugins, don’t forget to install the XML Site Map plugin:
This WordPress plugin will generate a special XML sitemap which will help search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo and Ask.com to better index your blog. With such a sitemap, it’s much easier for the crawlers to see the complete structure of your site and retrieve it more efficiently. The plugin supports all kinds of WordPress generated pages as well as custom URLs. Additionally it notifies all major search engines every time you create a post about the new content.
The next WordPress plugin we recommend to improve website load speed is the W3 Total Cache Plugin.
According to the www.wordpress.org plugin directory:
W3 Total Cache improves the user experience of your site by increasing server performance, reducing the download times and providing transparent content delivery network (CDN) integration.
Our experience with this WordPress Plugin agrees with this statement.
If you are interested in taking your website mobile, you’ll want to use the WPtouch Plugin. We upgraded to the Pro Version. It looks really nice and you can add a favicon to represent your website. According to the www.wordpress.org plugin directory:
WPtouch automatically transforms your WordPress website for mobile devices, complete with ajax loading articles and smooth effects when viewed from popular touch mobile devices like the iPhone, iPod touch, Android mobile phones, BlackBerry OS6+ mobile devices, and more!
The admin panel allows you to customize many aspects of its appearance, and deliver a fast, user-friendly and stylish version of your site to touch mobile visitors, without modifying a single bit of code (or affecting) your regular desktop theme.
The theme also includes the ability for visitors to switch between WPtouch view and your site’s regular theme.
Please like this post below or use the pictures to express yourself. Your feedback really is important to us. We hope these WordPress plugins bring you all the advantages you need to have a successful WordPress blog or website experience.
